Home Pupils & Parents Getting to School on Time
Getting to school on time
It is very important that your child gets to school on time so that they do not miss the start of a lesson and so that we know your child is safe.

It is also important for you to collect your child promptly at the end of the school day.  Teachers often have to attend meetings, or have responsibility for extra curricular activities and it is not always possible for them to wait with your child    until you arrive.

We never allow a KS1 child to leave the premises unaccompanied.  Neither do we allow a KS2 child to leave the premises unaccompanied, if they are normally collected.

Children who are not collected promptly will be the responsibility of the Headteacher and parents must enter school through the main front doors and collect them from the waiting area outside the Headteacher’s room.

If you are going to be late, please let us know, so that we can inform your child and prevent them from unnecessary worry.
