Starting nursery is a big step for your child and yourself. All children are different and will settle in their own way and in their own time. Please be patient and guided by the staff. It is our policy to visit children in their homes prior to starting nursery, as we find it an invaluable opportunity to get to know your child in an informal, relaxed atmosphere. When you arrive, please bring your child to a member of staff so that we know who is present. In this way we can keep a careful check on the safety of all children. This is also a good time to sit down and share an activity with your child, or take time to spend a few minutes talking with the staff. The Morning session begins at 9.00 and will finish at 11.30am. The Afternoon session begins at 12.45pm and will finish at 3.15pm. Children look forward to seeing you at the end of the session, so please make sure that you are on time to collect your child. If you are going to be late, please telephone us! Tel: 464 4487 It is most important that you inform us if someone different will be collecting your child, or if there is someone who must not be allowed to collect them.
