Morning Break Snacks

All pupils in Key Stage One and the EYFS receive a free piece of fruit daily.

A carton of semi-skimmed milk is available at 25p per carton, ordered termly, in advance, which children drink during the mid-morning break.

We promote healthy eating, by encouraging children in Key Stage Two to bring either fruit or a cereal bar to eat during the mid-morning break; confectionary, cake bars, chocolate and crisps are not appropriate.

All pupils are encouraged to bring a water bottle with a sports cap, for drinking throughout the day. Please consider sustainability when selecting a water bottle – it is preferable that children re-use their water bottle rather than brining in single use bottles daily.

Lunch

Meal options are either a packed lunch from home or a school meal provided by the canteen. Packed lunches provided by parents must not be hot and must not include chocolate or other confectionary.

Flasks are not considered suitable in packed lunches as they are often unmanageable and there are no suitable storage areas in school.

Pupils of parents in receipt of Income Support are entitled to a free school meal and should complete the necessary form from the school office.  If you are in receipt of Income Support, your child will be able to stay for a school meal immediately on receipt of your Income Support number.

The school runs a breakfast club offering a range of cereals, toast and fruit juice. The cost of this is £2.50 per day. The breakfast club is open from 7.45am – 8.45am

A hot school lunch is provided at a cost of £2.35 per day or £11.75 Weekly (Monday-Friday) and is paid online via ‘School Money’. Please do not bring money into school as we are unable to take cash payments. Should you not have access to the Internet, you can request a printed PayPoint bill from the school office. PayPoint bills can be used to make a payment at the post office or any shop that displays a PayPoint symbol.

Children may only change from a packed lunch to a school meal and vice versa, at the beginning of each half term, unless special permission has been first obtained from the Headteacher.

Please see below for our current lunch menu and information regarding the ingredients used.

All menu's are subject to change, depending on ingredients.
